Description of Services:

Association of Volunteers in International Service, USA, Inc. (AVSI-USA) is a non-governmental organization for international development since 2000, with non-profit status [501(c)3] and a member of the AVSI Foundation Network. AVSI-USA shares the vision and method of AVSI Network in promoting human development with a focus on education, according to Catholic Social Teachings.

AVSI-USA partners with local organizations in some selected countries, particularly Mexico, Ecuador, Peru , Haiti, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda & Kazakhstan by leveraging financial and technical resources and facilitates in a two-way relationship between donors and supporters in the US and these organizations in their challenges and achievements. Through these long-term partnerships, we enhance local organizations capacities and broaden impact in the areas of education, children and youth development with families and within communities, economic livelihoods, health and nutrition.
