Organization information

The International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC) is an international non-governmental organization whose mission is to protect and serve uprooted people, including refugees, asylum seekers, internally displaced people, survivors of human trafficking, and migrants - regardless of faith, race, ethnicity or nationality. ICMC implements needs-first and right-based approaches and to prioritize assistance to the most vulnerable people in need of protection. We continuously work to restore the dignity of uprooted people and to inspire long-lasting change. In pursuing these goals, we make sure that all our programs and activities comply with core humanitarian standards, principles of good governance, and Catholic social teachings.

Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, ICMC has affiliated entities in Brussels (ICMC Europe), Washington D.C. and Boston (ICMC Inc.), and operational offices in Greece, Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, Malaysia, and Pakistan.
