Organization information

The Office of Government Relations represents the policy priorities of The Episcopal Church to the U.S. government in Washington, D.C. We aim to shape and influence policy and legislation on critical issues, highlighting the voices and experiences of Episcopalians and Anglicans globally. We support Anglican Communion partners through advocacy, hosting visitors, and educating the broader Episcopal Church about issues facing the Communion.

The Episcopal Church is the U.S.-based province of the Anglican Communion, the third largest Christian community globally. At the head of the Anglican Communion is the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby. The Most Rev. Michael B. Curry is the Presiding Bishop and Primate of The Episcopal Church.
