Associate Director, Diocesan Support Development

 

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) Office of Migration and Refugee Services (MRS) has an opening for an Associate Director, Diocesan Support Development. This position leads, guides, coordinates, and facilitates the management of all functions and activities associated with the monitoring and supporting refugee resettlement programs.  Provides direction in the Diocesan Development and Support segment’s mission, to include responsibility for maintaining and developing diocesan network capacity responsive to refugee placement needs and ensuring appropriate implementation and performance measures in support of MRS-related refugee services. This position also has significant responsibility for the management of Office of Resettlement Services through membership on the MRS Programs/Management Team and the MRS Executive Management Advisory Group.

Management experience in domestic refugee programs, program and budget development, and management. Supervisory experience with program evaluation and development. Undergraduate degree; Graduate degree preferred in Social Services, Management, Humanities, Communications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Personnel management with refugee resettlement and fundamental immigration law. Knowledge of diocesan and Catholic Charities structures with 6+ years required experience.
