  • This position conducts monitoring and programmatic oversight of the Texas Unaccompanied Refugee Minor (URM) Program sub-recipients to ensure benefits and services are being provided in compliance with federal and state child welfare and licensing laws regulations, and policy guidelines for URM Programs.

 

  • This responsibility includes serving as the lead to carry out the core functions of oversight, data management (tracking, analysis, and dissemination), and all data collection and reporting aspects to ensure adequate state administration and compliance with all federal data reporting requirements.

 

  • Serves as the primary liaison with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Refugee Resettlement (HHS/ORR), for all data-related inquiries and reporting in the RADS database system. This position provides case consultation, capacity development, training, and consultation on programmatic and systemic trends and issues for a portfolio of URM Programs, the federal government, and other stakeholders.
