Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm - 1-hour lunch

Greet visitors, answer incoming phone calls, receive mail and deliveries, maintain general correspondence and e-mail, and maintain the reception area, conference rooms and Kitchen, and other duties as assigned.


1. Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate staff member. Respond to general information inquiries. Maintain general voice mail system for InterAction’s outgoing messages.
2. Greet visitors, answer their questions and announce their arrival to hosting staff. Keep reception area, conference rooms and refreshment area in presentable order.
3. Maintain the conference room meetings schedule and update the meeting schedule screen in reception area.
4. Maintain telecommunication system. Update phone system for new employees and remove separated employees. Maintain the Audio/Video system in the conference rooms.
5. Retrieve messages from the primary voice mailbox and forward them to the appropriate staff person.
6. Receive and rout incoming mail and packages. Call courier services for staff as needed.
7. Update the membership database.
8. Order and restock office supplies.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by Finance and Administration staff.

High school graduate or higher. Must have pleasant phone manners and be able to handle multiple tasks. Telephone Skills, Verbal Communication, Microsoft Office Skills, Professionalism, Customer service focus. Knowledge of database management, a plus.
