Pre-Arrival Case Manager- Special Immigrant Visa Lead

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of pre-arrival case management for refugees being resettled in the USCCB affiliate network.  Responsibilities include decision-making for case placements and case management liaison work with refugee resettlement implementing partners and USCCB affiliates.  This position serves as the lead for the Special Immigrant Visa program and serves as a backup for other Processing staff when needed. Bachelor’s Degree required or relevant experience within the human rights and social service fields. Major Field/Specialty:  Human and Social Sciences and Services, International Affairs, Anthropology, Psychology, Migration. Number of Years Required: 1-3 years

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of pre-arrival case management for refugees being resettled in the USCCB affiliate network. Responsibilities include decision-making for case placements and case management liaison work with refugee resettlement implementing partners and USCCB affiliates. This position serves as the lead for special populations case placement and protection activities and serves as a backup for other Processing staff when needed. Bachelor’s Degree required or relevant experience within the human rights and social service fields Major Field/Specialty:  Human and Social Sciences; International Affairs, Anthropology, Psychology, Migration Number of Years Required: 1-3 years

 

Refugee Transportation Specialist

This position specializes in the coordination of case travel arrangements for refugees resettling within the USCCB affiliate network. The Transportation Specialist ensures all travel bookings are accurate in USCCB’s database and coordinates with IOM and USCCB’s affiliate network regarding last-minute travel changes. The position also provides programmatic and administrative support to USCCB’s processing team. The position interfaces with USCCB pre-arrival staff, USCCB affiliates, national Resettlement Agencies, overseas Resettlement Support Centers, and IOM to resolve problems as necessary. The position is also responsible for supporting the programmatic and administrative functions of the Processing Operations segment. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience or combination of college-level course work and related experience Major Field/Specialty: Social Work, Business Administration, International Relations, or other appropriate fields Number of years required: 1 to 3 years
