The Children's Nutrition Program of Haiti is a small INGO with a 25-year history working in maternal and child health and nutriton within the vast and rural commune of Leogane. Programming includes prevention and treatment of acute malnutrition in children and women, community mobilization, water and sanitation, emergency relief, social and behavior change programming, and maternal, infant and young child health and nutriton. The organization employs approximately 40 staff within Haiti and 5 staff in the United States, along with an active board of directors and volunteer core.
