The CMB Foundation fosters collaboration and leadership among the U.S., China and Southeast Asia to advance health.

In 2016, CMB became a direct operating foundation, placing it in a stronger position to work with Asian and global partners to initiate, develop, and manage collaborative programs.

In China, CMB prioritizes work in health professional education, with a strong focus on graduate medical education; health systems, research, and practice; global health; and leadership development. In Southeast Asia, CMB’s flagship program is The Equity Initiative, a long-term fellowship program to build leadership for health equity and develop a community of changemakers from a wide range of sectors to support health equity in Southeast Asia.
