On the Ground International is a grass-roots non-profit based in Pamplona, Colombia, and working on the front lines of the Venezuelan refugee crisis. OTGI operates two shelters and supports two locally-run shelters. Shelters provide various services to the Venezuelan refugees who are walking across Colombia - food, showers, and a place to stay for one night before they continue on their journey. OTGI has a variety of projects in and around Pamplona that support the shelters and the local community, such as children’s programs, first aid/medical clinics, and food support.
