Every day, millions of people go without the care they need – because lifesaving solutions never reach them, or because the right solutions don’t yet exist.

Scientific innovation continues, but breakthroughs too often fail to reach the people who need them most because they are not adapted to real-world contexts, sustainably financed, or integrated into health systems.

At the same time, countries face rising burdens of infectious and chronic disease, climate-related threats, and growing pressure on health systems – and communities continue to suffer illnesses that could be prevented or treated.

Closing this gap is not just a technical challenge. It is a human one.
