The Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University invites applications for a non-tenure-track open-rank faculty position as either an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of the Practice or a Professor of Teaching with preference given to one or more of the following: the intersection of the private sector and development, social innovation, food security/agriculture, climate change/environment, or education. The position will be based with the Masters in Global Human Development (GHD) Program. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the incumbent will manage the GHD Capstone project and Washington D.C. internship processes (distinct from GHD's international summer internship), and lead the Certificate on Social Innovation and Global Development (SIDG). The appointment will begin in the Fall of 2023.

 

Qualifications

 

A Ph.D. is required. In addition, the ideal candidate will have professional experience that includes teaching and mentorship, and publications and research in one or more of the areas listed above.
